- Fast turnaround
- Water-tight seals
- Multiple machines
- High-speed cycle times
- No volume requirements
What is Radio Frequency (RF) Welding?
Radio waves are good for more than just bopping along to your favorite tunes. They can also be used to bond materials together. With RF welding, dies are placed on top of the materials, applying pressure to the surface. From there, radiofrequency waves are sent through the dies, creating enough heat for the materials to fuse together.
What is Ultrasonic Sealing?
Similar to RF welding, ultrasonic sealing produces heat to fuse materials together. However, instead of using radio frequencies, we use a thermoplastic film. The film can be a pouch or bag, or even a tube, tray, or cup. Heat is then generated inside of the film, which then allows the materials to bond.
